Secure Nepal's Schools

Schools do not need to fall down during eathquakes. We will do everything in our power to make safer schools a reality for Nepal's children.

For now, out projects are focused on collecting the data to understand why certain schools fell and others did not. In the face of future earthquakes, this information will guide national policy.By collaborating with in-country organizations like the National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET), the Ministry of Education, UNICEF and Red Cross and others, these policys can be realistic and actionable for all schools in Nepal.

Soon we will turn to creating the tools communities need -- the checklists, the videos, the games, the trainings, and the policies -- to understand how to build safe schools and houses.

We want to protect Nepal's most valueable asset, its future — its children.
